Shiny Things

J'adore les paillettes. I Love Sequins.
They're absolutely essential to every wardrobe. It can add the right amount of elegance, chic and sophistication to any outfit. But the hard thing about having a sequin clothing is that it needs to be taken care of properly which is hard to manage.  A sequin item that I've been dying to have is the sequinned jumper like in the second image.  It's something that I love because particularly in that image it can create a formal outfit, even if it is paired of with a skirt. It's enough to wear to a cocktail event or a wedding.

I don't own any of these images.

Abbey Lee's Transformation

I have to say I've never been a big fan of Abbey Lee but I have loved seeing her transformation. To a newbie in the fashion industry she was a brunette with long flowy hair then she started getting a hang of the business and got a edgy cut with a fringe. Then her career sky rocketed when she dyed her hair to blond and really discovered herself when dyed to platinum. The thing about her transformation is that every time she dyed her hair the more unhealthy she looked in my opinion. With her platinum hair I've always loved the colour but with her style choice, makeup and her petite figure it does not make her look healthy at all but it brings out a certain uniqueness and sophistication to her look compared to other models in the industry.

I quite adore Abbey for her style choices. She reminds me of a modern day gypsy.I have to say that many of her style picks are vintage and retro items and that make me think that she's a world traveller and that she get her clothes from different places in the world and just put them together.  It works for her though, nobody in the entire world can recreate her outfits and look better. But when she is out of her gypsy look she cleans well, elegant, sophisticated and chic. The jealous thing is that her being a model after a modelling for a show she'll get at least 1 piece of clothing from the designer that was in the collection.

Wasteland

It's official I found the meanest online website ever suited those with a glam/ rocker style. Its soo amazing, filled with brands like UNIF, stylestalker, Stolen girlfriend's club, one teaspoon and chaser. It's so not your average online store, a lot of the clothing is literally inspired by vintage, retro and the era of 1970's which by the way Joan Jett owned. It was impossible to get any of the clothes from the website to put into here to show you my favs so check it out

Just Rock Glam

So I think the black glam gave it away but this post is inspired by Jenny Humphrey and my current obsession with the novel/series Millennium.

I do not own any of these photos.

Jenny Humphrey

Introducing one of my style icons. Not Taylor Momsen but Jenny Humphrey of Gossip Girl Season 2.
I gotta say from first sight I absolutely Loved her style already. Okay some may say that her style is totally off like she's too lazy to get a hair brush and that she's soo slutty. But in fact it's just her style in season 2 that I love! In season 1 lets just say she was a follower of fashion. season 3 she totally went gothic in the worst ways ever and  when she's not acting she looks horrible her make up,everything. But aside all my hatred, in season 2 she looks absolutely great. My favourite style images of her aren't here but I can say that she has a rocker/glamorous look that I adore. Her smokey eye make up is to die for and her platinum blond hair is a dream.
When I wake up sometimes on the rebellious side of bed I go to her for style inspiration. Of course not too vulgar because my parents would never see to it but the colour pallet and the styling.

The Happiness you get discovering a one of a kind store.

Okay so no photos for now but something a bit personal.
Today I went shopping! No biggie right? My aim was to buy Christmas presents and I did but I also ended up buying stuff for myself and discovered amazing stores at alleys.
No Joke, like I was just bored of all the reoccurring trends that I didn't really look at the stores any more but what was around me. I ended up going to this small area that was part of a building and I discovered a shoe store. Dr. Martens that is. I was lost in such galore. I could've stayed there for ages but I didn't buy anything and couldn't afford anything so I had a quick look and left but that shop will definitely stay in my favourite stores list. Not only was there Dr.Martens but Vans Off the Wall and Converse and anything cool really.
Then I decided to get out of my usual route and went somewhere else where I passed this really awesome collage of people and shirts and it was pure Rock n Roll.
So I saw an alley some girls were coming off of and I had time to spare so I took a quick lookie and spoke with this girl working in this shop and told me to check out the real shop.
That was the moment I was truly in heaven. Leather Jackets, Iron Maden, Nirvana,Hippie Glasses, everything I'd dreamt off I saw. Obviously being one of a kind store it was definitely expensive but I recon everything is totally worth it. When I get my next year's allowance my savings will go to that store and those dr.martens shoes will be mine. I fell in love today.

Models, Models, Models

I'm not jealous or anything but how can models have such amazing genetics. How can one human being be blessed to be born with amazing looks, an amazing body and amazing hair?
Just saying I'm not jealous again but Brazilians seem to be very lucky.... hmmm a potential country to find my future husband perhaps?

I don't own any of these photos.
